Opposites Attract

If you have been on Facebook at all recently, you have probably noticed that one of the popular quizzes that is sweeping across Facebook is a Myers-Briggs personality type quiz. I have taken the actual test several times for different things, and I have always had a consistent result. Here is my result from the Facebook quiz (which is in line with previous results):

You are quiet, friendly, responsible, and conscientious. You are committed and steady in meeting your oblig ations. You are thorough, painstaking, and accurate. You are loyal, considerate, notice and remember specifics about people who are important to you, and concerned with how others feel. You strive to create an orderly and harmonious environment at work and at home. Famous people with your same ISFJ personality include: Former US First Lady Barbara Bush, figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi, Mother Theresa, General Robert E. Lee, and actor Michael Caine.
That seems pretty accurate to me. Here are the results from my wife’s go:

You are warmly enthusiastic and imaginative. You see life as full of possibilities. You make connection s between events and information very quickly, and confidently proceed based on the patterns you see. You want a lot of affirmation from others, and readily give appreciation and support. You are spontaneous and flexible, and often rely on your ability to improvise and verbal fluency. Famous people with your same ENFP personality include: Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Andy Kaufman, Bill Cosby, Robin Williams, Sandra Bullock, and Robert Downey Jr.
I think it is interesting how two people with such different personalities can get along so well. I think we balance each other well. Here is something that stuck out to me about the results of these two quizzes.  My quiz states,
You are loyal, considerate, notice and remember specifics about people who are important to you, and concerned with how others feel.” My wife’s quiz states, “You want a lot of affirmation from others.” I am very affirming and encouraging to my wife and I think it is interesting how God brought two people together who have personalities that mesh so well.
