CHBOLC: Day 62 “A Day at Victory Ranch”

1st Platoon had a little change of pace today as we took a short road trip to Victory Ranch. The change of scenery was nice and the ranch was beautiful. The place is run by a non-profit called Cadence. While we were there we spent most of the time doing field services so that everyone in the platoon could have a chance to do theirs.

The highlight of the trip was lunch. The couple who is running the ranch made a home cooked meal for us complete with fresh peaches. I love peaches and they even let me take home two of them! While it was not exactly the relaxing day that it was made out to be (four hours of preaching), the change of pace was nice. Also, being able to be in civies all day made the day that much more relaxed.

I have a few pictures from the day including a platoon picture (our first since CIMT). Enjoy!
