The most memorable class of the day and also one of the toughest (emotionally) hours of class since we arrived was the Casualty Notification class. The Chaplain teaching the class said he has gone on casualty notification duty nine times. The stories he told were sobering and wrenching and a graphic reminder of the human cost of war. This was one of those classes that made me wish I did not still have 2 years of seminary before I can go active duty.
There is not much else to say about the day. I have to brag on our SGL, CH H. is the best SGL at the Chaplain school and he has been a great resource to first platoon.
