CHBOLC: Day 6 “Uniforms”

I just have a couple of things to share today.

1. We put on our uniforms for the first time today. It is nice to have it on because it actually feels like Army training now.

H2. We had lunch with the highest ranking Chaplain in the National Guard, a one star general. We was a very nice and personable man who seemed to have a good grasp on the challenges and opportunities facing Guard chaplains today. He entertained our questions and seemed to genuinely care and be interested in our thoughts and opinions. I have a lot of respect for a high ranking officer who will take time to hear the concerns of his soldiers.

Tomorrow should be a much more exciting post as we will be going to rappelling. I plan on taking a lot of pictures to share with you. So, stop back by tomorrow afternoon when I should get my next post up.
