Veteran’s Day

Today is Veteran’s Day. It is a day set aside to honor those who have served our country in the military. The day has always had a special significance to me, as my family has always been very supportive of the military. This year, however, it means even more.

My younger brother is currently preparing for an overseas deployment. This makes me all the more aware of the sacrifices that have been made for this country and that continue to be made by our military.

I challenge you to take a few moments today to thank a vet. I’m willing to bet that nearly everyone knows a person who has served this country in the military. They have given so much to us, the least we can do for them is to say thanks.

“Thank you.”

  1. Thank YOU Caleb (and Laura). You may not be on active duty yet, but you’re preparing already for your many years of service. Since I can’t fly down to thank you guys in person, this just has to do.
